I work on high speed cables manufacture, stuff you would find in servers.

  • Developed best practices documentation for IR laser welding — built the knowledge base through DOE's and tests.
  • Developed best practices documentation for Hotbar PCB soldering — built the knowledge base through DOE's and tests.
  • Supported high-speed connector development through full cycle: DFM analysis → prototype validation → production setup.
  • Designed DOEs to understand how process variables interact.
  • Set up manufacturing and trained operators on new machines and processes.
  • Design, debug, build, measure, iterate.

Machinist/Drafter

  • Created shop inspection drawings.
  • Operated 5-axis CNC machines.

Side Projects

The things on this website are interesting problems, things that have caught my eye, or things I think could show some utility.

  • 5-axis 3D printer: Designed kinematics and mechanical systems, wrote embedded controller code (I thought it would be easier than using an existing system (oh you proor sweet summer child)). Currently developing a slicer for non-planar layer generation.
  • LLM-assisted product design: Built workflow using language models to iterate through engineering constraint trees more systematically.
  • This website: Built from scratch, custom templates, static site generation in Go for that blazingly fast load time. Threw in some 3d model rendering because that is one of the things I work on frequently. I needed a place to document work and existing platforms didn't quite fit.
